The magazine teases the series with the tagline: "I was fine with living alone, however — the search for something before the 'however' begins!"
Nicholson ended the My Lovesick Life as a '90s Otaku ( Inishie Otaku no Koiwazurai ) manga in Kodansha 's Kiss magazine in February 2023. Kodansha shipped the fourth and final volume in May 2023. Kodansha USA publishes the manga in English and shipped the fourth volume in August 2024.
